Valpolicella is a small area in Veneto where comes an important wine such as Amarone.
Valpolicella wines are always a blend of 4 typical grapes growing in province of Verona: Corvina, Corvinone, Molinara and Rondinella.
Recioto, Amarone and Valpolicella are made with the same blend.
Historically Recioto was the first wine known, the sweet wine dried for 4-5 mounths. Later Amarone cames but with a different process: driing shorter 100 days.
